The GHQ Training Schools’ Challenge helps to promote a healthy and active lifestyle amongst local school children. The event encourages pupils of all abilities to get involved and the 12-week programme, promoting a gradual improvement in their running and stamina.
Pupils will cover a total of 12.1 miles prior to race day. The finale of the challenge takes place on the day of the half marathon in front of thousands of spectators, where pupils complete their final mile distance and receive their very own Britain’s Ocean City Half Marathon Medal.
If you have any queries regarding the GHQ Training Schools’ Challenge, please contact Lance Chatfield, Plymouth SSP School and Community Sports Manager, via email firstname.lastname@example.org, before entries close on 3rd March 2017.”
