Who's up for the challenge?

The Britain's Ocean City Schools' Challenge helps to promote a healthy and active lifestyle amongst primary school children in and around Plymouth. The event encourages pupils of all abilities to get involved and the 12-week programme, promoting a gradual improvement in their running and stamina.

Pupils will cover a total of 12.1 miles prior to race day. The finale of the challenge takes place on the day of the half marathon in front of thousands of spectators, where pupils complete their final mile distance. After completing their final mile, each runner will receive their very own Britain's Ocean City Half Marathon medal.
